BlueMedicare Means More…of Whatever You Need

In 2016, we launched the Blue Means More concept for the 2017 AEP campaign, creating an ownable look and tone, raising brand awareness and differentiating Florida Blue from the competition.

Based on the concept’s success, a SWOT analysis and our own market research, we evolved the concept for 2018 to BlueMedicare Means More... The new concept evolved the previous concept to answer the question, “more what?” with words such as “value,” “possibilities,” “stability,” etc. Leveraging the brand promise, we used different executions of the concept in a phased approach based on the customer lifecycle during AEP.

This hugely successful effort is a multidisciplinary arts education program that uses visual and performing arts to promote local arts and education. Florida Blue’s own, Pat Garaghty, chaired our local United Way campaign in 2014, and The Studio produced a fund-raising video to help out. It shows the successes of three local people who benefited from United Way programs: Full-Service Schools , Real Sense Prosperity Place and Success by 6. The video helped United Way raise more than $20,000,000. Good things happen when we live United!

A short documentary was created to show the impact of the Mal Washington Foundation on at-risk kids in the community. Colloquialisms and dialect can vary by region, depending on the native countries of local residents.
